Texas Holdem is a card game. It is usually played with a typical 52-card deck from 2 to 9 players.
This kind of game is exciting and easy to learn how to play it.
Texas Holdem is from the group of the community card games, because of the usage of five face up cards, dealt in the center of the table, which all the players can share in order to make their best hand.
In Texas Holdem is used also a button that indicates the current dealer for the hand. This button moves clockwise after each hand. The two players to the immediate left side of the dealer put the first bets before the cards are dealt. These bets are called Blinds. After the Blinds each of the players receive two face down cards. These cards are hole cards and they are for personal use from the players. When the cards are dealt starts the first betting round when all the players have three options - to raise, to call or to fold.
The community cards are dealt in three rounds - first three /flop/, then one /turn/ and then the last one /river/, after each dealing there is a betting round. As a rule, there are four betting rounds and in the final one, the active players put their last bets. After they are ready with bets, comes the showdown. This is when all the active players show their hands and the winner is determined. The winner is the player with the highest ranked hand.
