Omaha High Low is one of the poker games, played at online poker rooms that brings a lot of exciting and pleasant hours to the players. It is not that popular like Texas Holdem but it still takes one of the first places in the poker fans' hearts.
The game is from the group of the Holdem games. It is not very different from Texas Holdem. There are two things that differentiate the games - the number of the hole cards and who is the winner. In Texas Holdem they are two hole cards and in Omaha High/Low they are four.
In Omaha High Low the pot is split between the lowest and the highest ranked hand. The hand is formed by two pocket cards and any three community cards.
The betting structure is the same - Big and Small Blind and four betting rounds during the dealing of the cards.
In Omaha High Low is also used the dealer button that indicates the dealer position and it also moves clockwise after each played hand. The players, taking part of game, must be from four to nine players. The dealing rounds are the same as in Texas Holdem.
HAND RANKING*:
Royal Flush - Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and 10 of the same suit.
Straight Flush - Five cards of the same suit in ascending order.
Four Of A Kind - Four cards of the same value.
Full House - Three of a kind and a pair.
Flush - Five cards of the same suit.
Straight - Five cards of any suit in ascending order. The ace can be either high or low.
Three Of A Kind - Three cards of the same value.
Two Pair - Two sets of pairs.
Pair - One pair of cards in a hand.
High Card - Complete absence of the above hands.
